toward a long-term target of 65 a year.
Louis DiCerbo II, an early graduate of
the program, says, “The FSS program is
more than just theory. It is hands on prac-
tical experience that will serve you well
as the foundation for becoming a value-
added, trusted advisor.”
Beyond the educational component of the
program, Boquet evidences a strong emo-
tional component as well. “I am very proud
to be doing this”, he said. “Our military
personnel deserve as much as we can give
them when they come back from serving our
country. The little bit we are helping will pay
off big time in their future development.”
The college is engaged in an active
program to get more companies involved
with the Center. At present, four compa-
nies have invested or contributed dollars
toward the program. While Penn Mu-

mother who may have served. “That was
unexpected, but very cool,” he says. “It is
a great opportunity for gifting.”

the military to “translate” military codes
into language and descriptions that HR

On this celebration of our nation’s in-
dependence, it is great to see our industry
helping veterans with the cruel necessity
of their independence. “If we can position
them better in the next part of their career,”
Boquet said when we chatted, “that’s a
great way to thank them for the service they
have provided to our country.”
On the Fourth of July, we reflect on the
acts of patriots of long ago. It is good to
keep the patriots of today in mind and to
know that our industry is doing its part
